▪︎Nella's nickname, Nettō, means Boiling in Japanese. She earned it due to her sudden mood swings and explosive moments, as well as her somehow loud voice tone.

▪︎ Irish — Nella was born in Ireland and moved to Japan with her wealthy, yet absent parents at the age of 5.

▪︎Under the guidance and sponsorship of Leonard Burns, Nella became the 1st Batallion's lead Engineer at young age (18). Besides her core job, she teaches the basics of Self Defense to all newcomer sisters that are part of her Squadron.

Nella has short brown hair (which can appear as medium length as well) which she keeps generally loose, emerald eyes and full lips.

She has a mildly toned, curvaceous figure with prominent breasts which Karim Fulham curiously considers of the 'perfect size'.

She is usually seen wearing white or black tank tops and T-shirts alongside her soldier's orange jumpsuit. She also carries a license that states her name and position, as well as a key with a coat of arms and a hammer, which symbolizes her position in the First Battalion.

▪︎Her skin is tanned and free of any marks/blemishes save for her tattoo. No specific freckles can be noticed, apart from isolated birthmarks and her obvious tattoo.

▪︎Despite having short hair, Nella takes good care of her strands and scalp, which can be noticed on the shine of her locks. She is notoriously stubborn at her Shampoos and one that's too close can tell her hair smells like crisp green apples.

▪︎Her eye colour varies from moss to light shades of acqua, dooey in shape and framed by full, thick lashes that collaborate with her deadpan gazing.

▪︎Despite being used to work in foundries and steamy environments with lots of metal, Nella is known for her lingering scent. Top notes are mandarin orange, bergamot and lemon; middle notes are iris, black currant, peach and rose; base notes are patchouli.

Nella has a rather laid-back personality and often uses slang, also making up non-existent words to translate feelings, objects and problems due to her foreign nationality.

She is also noted to be rather blunt, speaking freely about sensitive topics, as well as not being hesitant in pointing out others' flaws. Even with her superiors, she is not afraid to challenge them, which on a few occasions resulted in a physical conflict.

She often slacks off and would rather drink and let others do work. Nevertheless, she is a very competent Engineer and, when needed, Nella can be serious and focused, especially when crafting weaponry .

Despite Nella's fierce loyalty to Captain Leonard Burns, she isn't above insulting him at times; this is shown when she casually calls him a coward for sacrificing his life for the Church of Sol.

Nella seems to be rather self-conscious about her true age, as she states to everyone that she is 18, when Fulham has alluded to the fact that she is 20.

Her pastimes and talents are foot massages, hot stone spas and boasting. Nella loves to dance and participate in loud drinking competitions, as well as singing in Karaokes when time allows it.

She gets 8 hours of sleep a night on average and can become a very dangerous woman if lacking of proper rest.

▪︎Beer — Her absolute favourite beverage. In her thoughts, there’s nothing like sipping on a cold, fizzy beer on a hot day. Though beer technically dehydrates, it can taste incredibly refreshing. Light, bright flavors along with bubbling carbonation and cold temperatures make beer the perfect way to cool down her short temper and pair with her at special occasions too.

▪︎Cake — Having a sweet tooth, Nella believes that cake is one of the most versatile desserts with a huge variety of delicious flavor combinations. Red velvet, banana cream and carrot are among some of the her favorites, and there are nearly as many flavors of filling and frosting as reasons for her to smile while munching at such treat.

▪︎Chicken, Roosters and Hens — 𝑨𝒍𝒆𝒌𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒐𝒑𝒉𝒐𝒃𝒊𝒂 or the fear of chickens is derived from the Greek word ‘Alektor’ which means ‘rooster’ and ‘phobos’ meaning ‘fear’. As the name indicates, this phobia causes an irrational fear of chickens (or other feathered creatures as well as their eggs) in the sufferer. It is not only seeing the chickens in person that causes a panic attack in the individual; sometimes, merely the images or photographs of chickens are enough to trigger such reactions.

Fourteen years ago, Roshi Motofuku , notoriously famous Engineer that used to work for Hajima Industries, saved a young Nella from a path of evil and vice inside her own home by taking her as an apprentice and secluding her from absent parents.

She eventually earned the title of Engineer with hard work and studying, quickly becoming her master's favourite and winning renown and accolades, even if for countless times she argued and stormed out of her duties and tutor, threatening to give up on her path for an easier life.

Master Roshi also taught her combat basics, swordsmanship and the art of using self crafted demon swords; a secret technique that only a few learned given its difficulty and absence of proper materials.

Later, her tutor requested in their last meeting that if he were to die, she should pass this knowledge forward to a new apprentice. She stubbornly refused, lashing out that she'd never force anyone to endure so many painful years of hardworking.

Eventually, Leonard Burns took notice of her good work and innovative projects, even at young age, and invited Nella to work under his Squadron as Lead Engineer & Technician. Unable to refuse and glimpsing the opportunity of being part of a wealthy, established Batallion, Nella accepted his offer and quickly became an invaluable asset, for her specialities weren't not just taking proper care of gimmicks and gadgets, but also providing hi-tech insights in innovative ordinancd and weaponry for the Captain and his goals.

Nella got quickly acquainted with the 1st Lieutenants, being closer with Huon Li and Karin Fulham than Rekka Hoshimiya, who she considers childish and too full of himself. She's been an invaluable assed for the team in the past 6 years and despite the fact that she blatantly refused to take part in any sisterhood trainings, she is prone to respect her comrades beliefs.

Nella is a powerful, innovative Engineer and is noted to be an excellent wielder of the sword, especially demon swords. She fights using Suberutorī Ryū - Makengi (Sveltry Style - Demon Blade Technique) with her self-made Maken, Fang. Her sword lost its divine protection, functioning as a common sword for many years after a secret visit to the Nether, but thanks to Leonard Burns, it was temporarily blessed by a Karim Fulham because of its compatiblity with the water and air elements.

Serpent Fang: Nella launch diminute projectiles made of steel at the opponent with the help of her air pen.

Snake Belly: This technique transforms Nella's Demon sword into a longer form with a wavy edge, much like the curves of a snake. In addition, the area near the tip of the blade gains an emerald eye. This technique requires blood mixed in cotton oil to be spread along the sword.

Snake Lance: This technique is only used when Nella's sword is in its Snake Belly form. Slashing the sword through the air, it created a zigzagged wave in the air that flies forward, causing massive destruction to whatever it hits.

•Fire Enhancement: By singing out loud "𝑶𝒏 𝒔𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒊 𝒔𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒊 𝒎𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒊 𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒊 𝒔𝒉𝒖𝒔𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒊 𝒔𝒐𝒘𝒂𝒌𝒂" with the help of her Voicer Amplifier gadget, Nella can enhance fire abilities from her comrades.
